Description

To coincide with National Transgender HIV Testing Day, Gay City Arts and Lion's Main Art Collective present a free Trans & Genderqueer Open Mic, with opportunities for introductions and performances, including spoken word, music, dance, or other performances by trans and genderqueer artists.
HIV testing will be available on-site.
Headlining the evening is Scarlett D'Giacomo. Scarlett is a poet, musician, and space-witch from New England based in Olympia, WA or she is amorphous psychic energy from the constellation Cassiopeia inhabiting a human's body. She writes to nature, womanhood, blackness, transness, herself, and the world we navigate with no idea how it actually works.

Along with co-hosts Tobi Hill-Meyer and Jax Braun, spend an evening listening to and celebrating the voices of our local trans and genderqueer community. The evening is free and open to the public.
