ONE Eurovision Grand Final Saturday in May isn't enough, is it?

Our expansive Warehouse Venue, Volume@Disie https://kph-volume.dk/gallery-... Includes a HUGE ‘Copenhagen Courtyard’ outside space with converted basketball court and skate ramp. You will have a lot of play spaces to explore these unique Festival vibes, not just another concert or sweaty club!

The warehouse is at ground level with expansive space so you do not need to worry about climbing up and down steps. We role model a ‘Everybody Everywhere’ safe space policy in line with our Copenhagen values.

This is an INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL for guests aged 18+ in English for the estimated 400,000-500,000 extra people coming to the region for Eurovision fortnight in April & May.

The Pre-Party Show will include the 2024 ESC acts either live in person on one of our stages or played on the screens. We will confirm our 1st act very soon from their rehearsals just a bridge away in Malmö.

Taking place on the Saturday night before the Malmö Opening Ceremony on Sunday May 5 with a live Audience Vote and International Jury Panel to close out the Eurovision 2024 Concerts in Barcelona, Madrid, London, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Oslo & Tel Aviv. We have the honor to close the tour and be the opening party for Eurovision Live Events Week.

2. EVENT SUMMARY

See the ESC 2024 acts, previous Eurovision and National Final artists, live voting, Drag-A-Vision contest and Euroclub AfterParty for 10 hours from 7pm (early entry) until 5am!

COME TOGETHER for the biggest celebration of Eurovision as we crown the 2024 winner before Sweden in the 2023 UNESCO-UIA World Capital of Architecture, Copenhagen. In last year's host city 475,000 visitors went to Liverpool, UK during the festival fortnight hosted on behalf of 2023 winners, Ukraine. Just over 400,000 visitors were in the 2024 Eurovision ticket sales queue at the end of November.

3.THE VENUE

VOLUME by DISIE is next to Carlsberg and Enghave Plads train stations at Enghavevej 80 in Central Copenhagen. Here you will embrace the industrial history and raw expression that creates the physical framework for the city's most authentic venue.

@volume_by_disie is Copenhagen's cultural centre venue with big arm movements & high ceilings. The converted former tramshed is situated on the border of Vesterbro (Featured in Time Out Magazine's 2023 World's Best Neighbourhood) and Sydhaven.

You will catch-up and hang out with current and new Danish and international visitors for this unique festival in the 2024 Eurovision Host Capital City. At VOLUME the unifying culture venue supports sustainable development so integral to Danish and Copenhagen life. As our guest, you will also support DISIE (Danish Institute for Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship).

4. THE LINEUP

We are delighted to be welcoming Emmelie de Forest, the Reigning Champion of Eurovision in Malmö from 2013. She is no stranger to crossing the Oresund Bridge and brings her song writing and composing expertise to our International Jury panel to comment on the 2024 ESC acts.
We will host an immersive Grand Final with celebrity judges, show stopping 'Drag-A-Vision Contest' and our 15+ live performers from Sweden, Iceland, UK, Denmark, Turkey and of course Copenhagen:

5. THE CO-HOSTS

Your Eurovision Pre-Party is compered by 2 award winning co-hosts from London, UK (James Barr) and Copenhagen, Denmark (Annie Rection). A hilarious handover from last year's host country, United Kingdom is assured with these comedy queens!

James has vast experience of hosting and stand-up comedy from shows at Edinburgh Festival, London & tours across the UK. He has interview experience with global superstars such as Adele, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Kylie Minogue, Olly Alexander (UK 2024 Eurovision Artist) and Loreen to name just a few in his weekday breakfast show on Hits Radio UK with Fleur East. James makes regular TV appearances on UK media shows such as with Piers Morgan on Talk TV and in current affairs and activist panel discussions.

This will be the 5th Eurovision Pre-Party that James Barr has hosted with our Organizing Team members from London, UK and during the pandemic for 'Coronavision Song Contest' online in 2020 & 2021. He was also host of the London Cinema Eurovision Parties in 2017 and 2022 and a member of the UK Eurovision Jury in 2017. Members of our Organizing Team were also behind the New York City Eurovision and Melfest parties in 2020 and 2022.

Annie Rection joins James to inject Danish Royalty and Hygge into the event. She is the founder and producer of Denmark's Absalon Drag Race Shows, Just Another Drag Race Series as well as considerable experience as a Podcast Host and Drag Queen performer across Denmark. Annie was part of the Dragtastic group that featured on DR1 TV show, Knaek (Kick) Cancer. She also brings stand-up comedy expertise from her shows at Comedy Zoo to your Eurovision Pre-Party evening. 'Can you speak Danish?'

6. THE RUNNING ORDER OF YOUR 2024 EUROVISION GRAND FINAL IN COPENHAGEN

The doors open at 1900 for early entrance and VIP ticket holders. Our Video DJ will welcome and warm you up with our 'Scandinavian Song Book'. For standard entry ticket holders, the doors open at 1930. Due to demand there may not be ticket sales at the door! From 2000 to 0030 the competing 2024 ESC songs will fight it out for the MalmöHagen WIN! YOU will decide who qualifies for the places in our Copenhagen Grand Final on our instagram polls!

After the Show Cast and Acts perform YOU will vote for you top 10 points and winner to send over the Øresund bridge to Sweden.

No juries are welcome here... but we have a VIP ticket holder Green Room with an International Jury Panel to comment on the ESC 2024 songs.
Our 2024 Danish Absalon Drag Race stars, 2023 Just Another Drag Show stars, 2023 Danish LGBTQIA+ Rainbow Award nominees, winners and Drag Performers will also host the Eurovision 'Drag-A-Vision' show: an ESC musical medley for your senses! That stage will BLOW with some of the dance breaks (and ballads) we have in store between the 2024 competing songs! Our entertainers will warmly welcome and make you feel cozy in our Danish House of 'Hygge'.

From 0030 until 0500 the Afterparty Euroclub continues in the venue with DJ Ohrmeister, a veteran of over 20 countries.

We now have 8 LGBTQIA+ club nites in Copenhagen and a further 15 LGBTQIA+ bars, cafés, restaurants and spaces. Most venues have no cover charge in Copenhagen. After the Party you can go home and sleep on the train back to Malmö or your place in Copenhagen.

Copenhagen Central station is a 28 minute train ride away from Malmö Arena (or 12 minutes if coming from Copenhagen Airport). Trains run through the night so you don't need to worry if you are staying in either city.

Unique from the existing Euroclubs and Pre-Party Concerts, YOU will ALSO be the audience and voters in your own 2024 Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final! This event is a 10 hour party with after party Euroclub included. We won't ask you to leave after the concert, show and vote!

This spectacular Eurovision Week Opening Party is YOUR 'Saturday Night' of Copenhagen Eurovision Weekend. The Danish Capitol needs a full weekend to explore, not just a week night! PARTY like Whigfield (1990s Danish pop legend) and her global number 1 hit, 'Saturday Night'! You don't want to suffer PED (Post Eurovision Depression) on Saturday May 11, do you!
A Three-Time Host Capital City of Eurovision Grand Finals in 1964, 2001 & 2014, Denmark will host our own 2024 ESC Grand Final Pre-Party on behalf of our dear (but smaller) neighbor, Malmö, Sweden. We also hosted the 2005 Eurovision Anniversary Contest.

We plan to make future announcements about who else will be visiting you from former ESC participants and National Finals.

If you witness or experience anything, go directly to the people working at the bar or the security staff. The ticket is non-refundable. We reserve a few discounted tickets for BIPOC/Non binary/Trans people who can't afford the tickets, but need a night like this.
