SUGAR is the primary alias of Copenhagen-based composer, producer and Fast Forward. Productions co-founder Nikolaj Jakobsen. While Sugar’s sound may be best described as techno with its heart on its sleeve, his seemingly innate ability to conjure multiplicitous spaces within a single piece of music can’t be easily constrained by simple genre signifiers.
Absorbing the powerful, playful and emotional intensity of the punk, hardcore and metal scenes that Jakobsen commited his earlier years to, it occupies a unique place in today’s electronic music landscape – one that Jakobsen has been instrumental in creating.
It’s this sound that has seen Sugar DJ at some of the world’s best clubs, including Berghain, Basement NY, K41 in Kyiv and Georgia’s Bassiani, as well as extensively touring Europe and The Americas since that first release in 2018. Bringing the music of Copenhagen to an international audience is an essential part of the process, Jakobsen’s commitment and love for his home city cutting through everything he does. In conjunction with the electronic club scene reemerging from covid-depervation, Hultgren has managed to make a mark as one of the new comers to the electronic scene in Malmö and Copenhagen.
Malmo based Norm collective representative and resident since the launch of the GAG event series. Focus on energetic rythms, steady grooves and a toss off melancholy. Delivering a broad variation of different genres such as techno, electro, breaks and trance Hultgren has repeatedly layed structure for vibrant dancefloors.

HNNCH
Impersonating hypnotic and trippy soundscapes, layered through soft and sharp textures. Forever lost in genres, but always true to style. Member of Malmö local collective Norm, accompanied with close friendships and fast paced rythms, HNNCH is a trustworthy act to be familiar with.
